MALTA’S NEXT BIGGEST EXPORT?
Mykill will be exporting the Maltese club vibe to 4 countries in the next few months.

Not many local artists had the honor of sharing the same stage with Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Cassius, Roger Sanchez, Filo & Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, N.E.R.D., Akon, Inna, Maroon 5 and Tribali  to crowds of over 45 000 people at one go… Mykill is one of them.

For the past 14 years Mykill has established himself as one of Malta’s top djs, his adventures behind the decks have taken him to play international events exporting his unique dj sets to Ibiza, Austria, Czech Republic, London, Latvia and Cyprus. 

After successfully delivering the Maltese Clubbing atmosphere to Prague last year, Mykill has been invited to tour there again this January, only this time covering clubs in three different cities for Fragola Republic events, one of the biggest promoters in Czech Republic. 

Beginning of February Mykill will travel from Prague to the Netherlands where he will be mixing in the Amsterdam area playing top house clubs for Goodlife Events at  Arnhem, Eindhoven, Breda and Nijmegen. Once again straight from Holland Mykill and his entourage will travel to Belgium where he will headline the first ever Maltese branded Whysoserious party at Club Tibu in Neerpelt, Holland! 

Whysoserious is one of Malta’s most consistent club promotions, throwing highly attended parties every Friday for the past three years at Hugo’s Shadow Lounge in Paceville, Whysoserious also organize boat parties, co-promote big events like Lovesexy and festivals in Gozo. Mykill is one of the residents of Whysoserious and he will be headlining their first event in Belgium, with their unique Maltese vibe. Their last international event was a party held at Multi-Klubs in Latvia that featured Maltese visuals on the venue screens and a Maltese entourage taking over the dance floor!

Mykill’s international tour will end in Slovakia, where he will play a big event to over 2000 party people in Bratislava for La Grande House events with teh biggest names in Slovakia taking over the Dj booth in March 24th and 25th.

Mykill started his musical stint as a guitarist and front man in a punk band in the 90′s, eventually swapping his electric guitar for a pair of turntables and a mixer. Quickly establishing his name as a show man, crowd pleaser and original Dj, always putting on tunes that rock the dance floor surprising the crowd with a mixture of ear friendly tunes and unexpected remixes, dropping in samples, jingles and his trademark microphone antics!Mykill is a party Dj, when he hits the Dj stand the dance floor ignites immediately, as he delivers track after track, never taking safe bets, but simply interacting with his crowd no matter what capacity the club holds, like a friend would put tunes you love at your private house party!

Mykill is a resident with Whysoserious promotions at Shadow Lounge every Friday. Catch Mykill at his residencies every  Thursday and Sunday at Hugo’s Passion, Wednesday at Tex Mex, plus is a guest at the legendary G7 and Sunglasses at night events at Gianpula!

Having a musical background Mykill loves teaming up with musicians in his set, with carefully rehearsed impromptu solos on top of his mixes by his life time friend Mr. Bongo on jembee/digital drums, Pjam on saxophone.
